Dr. Richard Kramer | Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Kramer was born and raised in Hagerstown. He only left to go to school and came home to the greatest place in the world to practice. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After completing a residency in General Anesthesia at The Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, he returned to Baltimore to complete his Oral Surgery Training at the University of Maryland and Shock Trauma.
Dr. Kramer and his wife Lauren are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters.
Dr. Kramer is especially interested in the placement of dental implants to replace teeth, extraction of teeth, and making his patients comfortable for their oral surgical needs.
Dr. Gary Koterwas | Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Gary Koterwas is a board certified Oral and Maxilofacial Surgeon and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.He attended Morgan State University where he played Division I basketball and received Academic All-American honors. After undergraduate, he attended the University of Maryland Dental School. There he was involve in both basic science and clinical research receiving numerous awards upon graduation.
After dental school, he wanted to serve his country , and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. While serving, he furthered his education by completing a general practice in dentistry at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and courses such as Advanced Trauma Life Support. Upon completion of his service, he completed his residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Systems and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.Dr. Koterwas enjoys all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is on staff at Chambersburg, Waynesboro and Washington County hospitals. He is an active member of the community, as well as a member of Cumberland Valley and Washington County dental societies.
